How it Works: Mailing Kits

Postie Pals mailing kits are designed to make sending and receiving mail simple, fun, and exciting. 

Step 1: Pick Your Pen Pal

Choose a friend or family member to become your pen pal!

Step 2: Personalize Your Starter Card

Write a special message inside a starter card for your pen pal - and don’t forget to sign your name! Then, decorate the card using a decorative sticker sheet.

Step 3: Add Your First Postie Pals Activity Sheet

Tear off the first blank activity sheet, "My Favorite Things", and tuck it inside the personalized starter card.

Important: Leave this activity sheet blank - it’s for your pen pal to complete and mail back to you!

Step 4: Send It on Its Way

Place your personalized starter card (with the blank activity sheet) inside the envelope. Address it to your pen pal, secure it with an envelope seal sticker, add a stamp, and pop it in the mailbox!

Step 5: Watch Your Mailbox

Next, your pen pal will complete the activity sheet and mail it back. Now comes the exciting part, wait for your mail to arrive and discover their responses!

Step 6: Keep the Adventure Going

Once you receive their completed activity sheet, it’s time for the next exchange! Write a letter to your pen pal using one of the notepad sheets, pair it with the next blank activity sheet. Tuck both into one of the provided mailing envelopes and send it on its way! Repeat this step with each remaining activity sheet.

After all exchanges have been shared with your pen pal, it’s time to restart the adventure again with a different pal!
